Below is a collection of great pictures of very real
Romany & English Gypsy Trailers and such sent to me from a nice guy out of
England ....
The first 12 are of Horse drawn wagons ....and the rest are more
modern trailers that are mostly built by Gypsy's for fellow
'Travelers' .
They're a bit on the ostentatious side , but that's the way Gypsy's
like them .The Rom are a very colorful people who like any other
true and real Nomad cherish pretty things. So they set up their
trailer homes to showcase their prized possessions...
They're also a pragmatic bunch who look for ways to get by without
spending a lot of their hard earned money...evidenced by some of the
pictures of below. Notice the beautiful wood/coal burning stoves
they install in just about all of their trailers.
The Rom know they can always find a pallet or a few sticks of wood to
warm their Rolling Homes ....
These are an Alien , but very Cool Nomadic people for sure...We Love them
and appreciate them for the Life they live
and feel sorry that they're misunderstood
and mistreated so often..

A surprising and kind of neat thing happened the other day
.... I got an email from Daniel Sullivan , managing director
of Roma Caravans Limited who found our site and noticed a
few of these pictures were trailers he built....
So he sent along a few more shots of the interiors of the
incredibly well made and quite lovely trailers he designs
and builds...and one of the exterior with his daughter
Holly....
I'm really happy to
get these pictures and even happier to know there's someone
out there still building these very unique and special
Rolling Homes.
